The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rugged Momentum could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Rugged Momentum clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rugged Momentum today. It continued in the lead. Powerful Rocket galloped for 30 m.



Rugged Momentum kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Friendly Look won the race after a spectacular finish.
