It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Yorktown Gunner was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Quick Legend started to galop and lost 10 m.




Yorktown Gunner was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Indiana took the lead after 1000m. Lone Plan didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Lone Plan looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Lone Plan looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Indiana never caught up with Lone Plan who won. Yorktown Gunner came third.
