One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hope's Song took the lead after a very quick start. Ghostly Sunray was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. The Orient Express, Drogheda, Sleeping Sunshine, Hope's Song, Beautiful Angel, Empiress, Ghostly Sunray, . Empiress was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Sleeping Sunshine took the lead after 1000m. The Orient Express didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Drogheda galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.



The Orient Express took the lead after 1000m. Beautiful Angel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.






Beautiful Angel won the race after a spectacular finish.
