The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Drammen today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

An Observer was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Im Committed saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Joyful Shine sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Citrin showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Joyful Shine was still in the lead after 1500m.

Joyful Shine kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Joyful Shine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Dreaming Rocker made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Joyful Shine.
