One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Calexico found a gap and took the lead. Christiane F. followed before As It Gets.




As It Gets saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Admiral Missile sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. As It Gets galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Gentleman Behemoth galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Admiral Missile was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Opposing Maid gallopped for 20 m.



Admiral Missile looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Calexico won the race after a spectacular finish.
