One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Moving Rocket could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Moving Rocket was still in the lead after 1500m.



In The Light was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Re Peat suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Moving Rocket sprinted over the finishline before Re Peat and Bowbell Cockney.
