One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Max Pirate tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Uprising that came steaming ahead.




Max Pirate quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Max Pirate clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Max Pirate was still in the lead after 1500m.



Max Pirate sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Uprising won the race after a spectacular finish.
