One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Indian Sneaker was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Great Barrier Magician, Tougher Then You, Sad Energy, Indian Sneaker, Snibb, Bye Bye Johnny, Breaking Star, Glenn The Rocker.

Sad Energy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Snibb couldn't come out from behind the leader, Great Barrier Magician.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Great Barrier Magician followed by Snibb and Indian Sneaker. Lane two Sad Energy followed by Tougher Then You and Bye Bye Johnny. Bold Princess started to gallop after 1500m and Thomas Uhrberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Great Barrier Magician sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Snibb never caught up with Great Barrier Magician who won. Sad Energy came third.
