It had been raining for several days at Arvika but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





More Than Great could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Leonardo, Breakdancin' Buddha, More Than Great, Far Beyond Hero, Heavenly Tropic, Dancing Wave, Pose Puerta, .




Leonardo was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Dancing Wave suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




More Than Great accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




More Than Great kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




More Than Great was safely in the lead after 2500m.



More Than Great kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






More Than Great didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
