One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Powerful Ship could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Top Loaded saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Powerful Ship took the lead after 1000m. Ritterkreuz Larockma didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Powerful Ship was still in the lead after 1500m.

Golden Wings was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Fine Design speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Top Loaded galop. Top Loaded lost 10 m.

Final standings. 1 Sgt Pepper, 2 Fine Design, 3 Golden Wings.
