One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Neuruppin took the lead after a very quick start. Without A Cause was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Little Extra Credit saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Happy Sword took the lead rather easily. driver couldn't keep Gylden Skatt to trotting so they were disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Happy Sword followed by Babe Magnet and Jamaica Beach. Lane two Sparrow's Cry followed by Neuruppin and Moving Puma.

Happy Sword sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sparrow's Cry galop. Sparrow's Cry lost 40 m.

Happy Sword kept the speed the whole finish and won before Little Extra Credit and Neuruppin.
