The weather had been good all week and Axevalla was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Relaxing Sword sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Gil Yotin quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Relaxing Sword looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Calming Folder couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gil Yotin.




Relaxing Sword looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Gil Yotin put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Breakdancin' Buddha was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Hulabandula showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Relaxing Sword speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Bene Progetto won the race after a spectacular finish.
