The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solvalla today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Portable Sound. Rejse ended up behind the leader. Gallant Baron got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Sainte was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. To The Moon, Bene Progetto, Rocket Star, Hand In Pocket, Rejse, Portable Sound, Sainte, Gallant Baron.

To The Moon clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Sainte galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Rejse accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

To The Moon galloped way to long and was disqualified. Hand In Pocket litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Hand In Pocket kept the speed the whole finish and won before Rocket Star and Portable Sound.
