One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wiglaf could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Wiglaf was still in the lead after 1500m.

Strong Knight litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
