The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bollnäs this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flower Box was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. President Of America suddenly started to galop. Ulf Eriksson had to struggle to get President Of America to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Green As Grass, Falling Energy, End Of'all Hopes, Twinkle Toe, President Of America, Flower Box, Mr Runalot, Jack Irons. Firefly was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Falling Energy sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. President Of America suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. End Of'all Hopes galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Mr Runalot accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Mr Runalot sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jack Irons never caught up with Mr Runalot who won. Falling Energy came third.
