One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Comfortable Sound sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Dominator quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Dominator today. It continued in the lead. Dominator was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Super Furry Animal was first on the homestretch followed by Happy Blueboy and Comfortable Sound. Dominator won the race after a spectacular finish.
