One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Honourable Striker was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Trembling Box sprinted to the front.




Erik Palema sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Honourable Striker accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Volbeat galoped for 30 m. Trembling Box was first on the homestretch followed by Honourable Striker and Erik Palema.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Honourable Striker galop. Honourable Striker lost 40 m.




Erik Palema won the race after a spectacular finish.
