The weather had been good all week and Harstad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Steppenwolf sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Conqueror, Blind Date, Belagt Med Silken, Glöd, Nothing To Lose, Monkey Fist, Happy Sword, Steppenwolf. Steppenwolf showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Conqueror clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Glöd was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Monkey Fist galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Happy Sword accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Monkey Fist galloped for 30 m.



Happy Sword sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Blind Date won. Conqueror came in second. Glöd caught third place.
