Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Umåker track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Chip Count was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Flying Detroit started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Hug The Rail sprinted to the front.

Hug The Rail was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. driver couldn't keep It´s You to trotting so they were disqualified.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hug The Rail today. It continued in the lead.

Hug The Rail kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Lady Moura galop. Lady Moura lost 10 m. Hug The Rail galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Chip Count won the race after a spectacular finish.
