The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Old Asteroid sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Powerful Bandwith quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Down The Beach took the lead after 1000m. Yolo Arnie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Down The Beach was still in the lead after 1500m.




Yolo Arnie seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Sunshine Tonight gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



Yolo Arnie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Old Asteroid never caught up with Yolo Arnie who won. Powerful Bandwith came third.
