One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleepy Cookie sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Mo Chuisle was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Sonic Machine was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Skates On Ice started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Sonic Machine clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Mo Chuisle was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Holy Flower followed by Sea Cruiser and One Step Ahead. Lane two Sleepy Cookie followed by Sonic Machine and Skates On Ice.



Sleepy Cookie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Holy Flower never caught up with Sleepy Cookie who won. Sea Cruiser came third.
