The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Big Captain. Cropans´s Boa ended up behind the leader. Powerful Frenzy got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Powerful Frenzy, Cropans´s Boa, Commodore Cockney, Outsider, Big Captain, Golden Magician, Her Bright Skies, Jumping Folder.




Commodore Cockney took the lead after 1000m. Big Captain didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Big Captain saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Powerful Frenzy galloped for 10 m.



Big Captain looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Cropans´s Boa, 2 Commodore Cockney, 3 Golden Magician.
