The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Her Bright Skies could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Jörgen Wickman wanted a little to much in the start and Jolly Tropic galoped for 10 m.




Jolly Tropic quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Sparkling Water who started to galop and lost 40 m.




High-tech took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Tropic didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Jolly Tropic looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



driver couldn't keep Sparkling Water to trotting so they were disqualified. Jolly Tropic looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Her Bright Skies galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Fidde Boy was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.
