One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Miss Starshine tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Struggle On Champion that came steaming ahead. Conrad Lugauer wanted a little to much in the start and In The Wind galoped for 20 m.




Struggle On Champion was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of In The Wind who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Struggle On Champion was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Struggle On Champion followed by Curtis and Strong Printer. Lane two Miss Starshine followed by King Agent and Sliding Bullet. Sliding Bullet started to gallop after 1500m and Michael Lönborg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Miss Starshine galoped for 50 m. Struggle On Champion sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Struggle On Champion today who won before Curtis and Strong Printer.
