The sun was shining on Joensuu and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Galaxyland Zipper was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Like A Drawing saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Galaxyland Zipper sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Galaxyland Zipper was still in the lead after 1500m.




Smiling Lilac put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Sowing Pearl was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Smiling Lilac looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Like A Drawing sprinted over the finishline before Galaxyland Zipper and Smiling Lilac.
