It had been raining for several days at Lappeenranta but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Sliding Mind found a gap and took the lead. Nuclear Warning followed before Knoxtrot Hall. Knoxtrot Hall suddenly started to galop. Pekka Korpi had to struggle to get Knoxtrot Hall to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Knoxtrot Hall saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Shooting Scout was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Dancing Tango was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Sliding Mind sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nuclear Warning looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Sliding Mind put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Grasping Diamond was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Sliding Mind sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jan Norberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Shooting Scout started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Nuclear Warning never caught up with Sliding Mind who won. Trot For Oats came third.
