One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Insane Garden. Rødgrøt F ended up behind the leader. Doctor No got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Starlight quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Nordpå took the lead after 1000m. Kamelia Larockma didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Doctor No suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nordpå followed by Big Embrace and Insane Garden. Lane two Kamelia Larockma followed by Royal Phantom and Doctor No. Godvino started to gallop after 1500m and Ann-Kristin Rasmussen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Nordpå kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Nordpå today who won before Insane Garden and Big Embrace.
