The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mygodwhata Face was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Emilia Girl was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Grazie Star, Parima, Café Au Lait, Big´n Strong, Mygodwhata Face, Pretty Giggle, Emilia Girl, Perfect Windy.

Café Au Lait took the lead after 1000m. Parima didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Greta Bulwark galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Café Au Lait followed by Emilia Girl and Mygodwhata Face. Lane two Parima followed by Perfect Windy and Pretty Giggle.

Emilia Girl litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Perfect Windy sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
