The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Empire sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Perfect Empire started to galop and lost 50 m.




Dr Pepper Pride saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Starlight sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Sgt Pepper suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Starlight followed by Dr Pepper Pride and Shooting Momentum. Lane two Perfect Empire followed by Golden Treasure and Wild Cowboy. Clark Kent galloped for 40 m.



Perfect Empire speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Starlight made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dr Pepper Pride.
