One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mean Machine tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hiacintas Bakaou that came steaming ahead.




Mean Machine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Hiacintas Bakaou took the lead after 1000m. Fruciante Fender didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hiacintas Bakaou today. It continued in the lead.



Hiacintas Bakaou sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Hiacintas Bakaou. Mean Machine came in second. Fruciante Fender became third.
