The weather had been good all week and Kajaani was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Lancer. Imperator ended up behind the leader. Galactic Winner got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Mood Persimmon suddenly started to galop. Mauri Jaara had to struggle to get Mood Persimmon to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and What A Punk sprinted to the front.

Hutch took the lead after 1000m. Lancer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hutch today. It continued in the lead.

Mars Bars speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Mars Bars today who won before Hutch and Lancer.
