The sun was shining on Lappeenranta and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dano found a gap and took the lead. Colt Grizzly followed before White Turf.




Colt Grizzly saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. White Turf galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Carmensita looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dano couldn't come out from behind the leader, Colt Grizzly.




Colt Grizzly was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race White Turf galoped for 40 m. Colt Grizzly looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Dano never caught up with Colt Grizzly who won. Carmensita came third.
