The weather had been good all week and Vaggeryd was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Box Hill took the lead after a very quick start. The March To War showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. driver couldn't keep Black Face to trotting so they were disqualified.

Renew Power quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Dominator showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. A bird flew just in front of The March To War who started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Cantor took the lead rather easily.

Box Hill was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Renew Power galoped for 20 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Cantor took the lead rather easily.

Als Es Ist made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Cantor.
