Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Karlshamn track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lauvins Nikita sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Rugged Rock saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Liudvikas Bakaou showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Soldier Dynamite looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ahimsa Bashkir couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rugged Rock.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rugged Rock followed by Ahimsa Bashkir and Chip Count. Lane two Soldier Dynamite followed by Lauvins Nikita and Paris With Love. Paris With Love started to gallop after 1500m and Joakim Lövgren had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Rugged Rock sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Soldier Dynamite galoped for 50 m. Lauvins Nikita litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Rugged Rock, 2 Lauvins Nikita, 3 Ahimsa Bashkir.
