It had been raining for several days at Färjestad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Urax. Enormous Joy ended up behind the leader. Rugged Crusher got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Explosive Dynamite quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Enormous Joy took the lead rather easily. Rugged Crusher galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Enormous Joy followed by Rugged Crusher and Hope and Glory. Lane two Urax followed by Care For You and Explosive Dynamite.



Enormous Joy looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Åke Lindblom tried a little too much on the homestretch and Rugged Crusher started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Urax sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
