One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Silver Spirit could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Silver Spirit was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Briljant, Tous Les Memes, Masked Magician, Mrs. Robinson, Silver Spirit, Focused Behemoth, Moloch Cherry, Velociraptor. Hurricane Observer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Focused Behemoth looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tous Les Memes couldn't come out from behind the leader, Briljant.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Briljant today. It continued in the lead.

Briljant kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Briljant sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Ove A Lindqvist tried a little too much on the homestretch and Tous Les Memes started to galopp and lost 10 m. Velociraptor galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Briljant kept the speed the whole finish and won before Silver Spirit and Moloch Cherry.
