The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thrillville Lady could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Morning Dew started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Corazon Amok sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Modest Diamond galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Emilia Tilly accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Emilia Tilly kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Thrillville Lady speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Corazon Amok made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Emilia Tilly.
