Start List
The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bergsåker this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lieutenant
Rocker took the lead after a very quick start.
This is the positions after 500m. Smart Move, Maybe Someday, New Story, Ballad Of Beacon, Lieutenant
Rocker, Zaccaria, Tour Eiffel, Bad Time.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Smart Move followed by Zaccaria and Lieutenant
Rocker. Lane two Maybe Someday followed by Ballad Of Beacon and New Story. Bad Time started to gallop after 1500m and Ulf Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Smart Move were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
John Östman tried a little too much on the homestretch and New Story started to galopp and lost 30 m.
Maybe Someday won the race after a spectacular finish.
