One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Godere Il Cavalcare sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Black Face galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of First Shift who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Godere Il Cavalcare clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Godere Il Cavalcare today. It continued in the lead.




Vaporizer seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Godere Il Cavalcare galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Black Face galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Vaporizer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Lindys Crown, 2 Vaporizer, 3 Cariac.
