The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rugged Crusher took the lead after a very quick start. Johnny Takter wanted a little to much in the start and Space Spirit galoped for 50 m.




General Asteroid quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Missouri Bushwacker sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Rugged Crusher looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



General Asteroid suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Missouri Bushwacker galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




No-one could catch General Asteroid today who won before Stifling Diamond and Colt Grizzly.
