One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Honourable Band sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Honourable Band was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Honourable Band clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Honourable Band followed by Sucrée Que and Milk Tank. Lane two Power Piece followed by Moving Technology and Véritable Récit.




Power Piece put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Power Piece were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Sucrée Que made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Honourable Band.
