Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Jarlsberg track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Proof Im Wrong sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Sergeant Bear was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Deserve Attention started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Hermes Line clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Deserve Attention suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hermes Line followed by Slow Fist and Proof Im Wrong. Lane two American Fighter followed by Mighty Boy and Sergeant Bear.

Hermes Line kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Hermes Line never caught up with Sergeant Bear who won. American Fighter came third.
