The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åmål today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chris Columbus took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Reign Of Terror, Happy Jewel, Prince Pug, Sneaking Ruby, Dreaming Rocker, Something Else, Chris Columbus, Nothing Special. A bird flew just in front of Samba Mamba who started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Something Else took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Something Else followed by Chris Columbus and Samba Mamba. Lane two Dreaming Rocker followed by Nothing Special and Happy Jewel.




Something Else kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Dreaming Rocker suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Reign Of Terror galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Something Else won. Dreaming Rocker came in second. Nothing Special caught third place.
