One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Light Bomb. Brighton Pier Cockney ended up behind the leader. Rhythm Identification got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Quare Hawk, Brighton Pier Cockney, Brave Platinum, Yellow To Blue, Light Bomb, Rhythm Identification, Cool Crown, Sergeant Printer.

Rhythm Identification sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Sergeant Printer galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Rhythm Identification was still in the lead after 1500m.

Sleeping Box was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Rhythm Identification sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Light Bomb made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Rhythm Identification.
