One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Falang. Solid Stereo ended up behind the leader. Max Legend got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Eirik Høitomt wanted a little to much in the start and Solid Stereo galoped for 20 m.

Solid Stereo quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Falang sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Falang followed by Solid Stereo and . Lane two Max Legend followed by Hurtigrutten and .

With only a little left of the race Max Legend galoped for 10 m. Falang were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Max Legend never caught up with Falang who won. Solid Stereo came third.
