The sun was shining on Kalmar today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Clara Baby was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Confident Satellite, Clara Baby, Spider Hoof, Singing Wind, Filly Ieiunium, Unlimited Power, Angelo Lacrima, Anderberg.




Clara Baby took the lead after 1000m. Singing Wind didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Clara Baby followed by Unlimited Power and Filly Ieiunium. Lane two Spider Hoof followed by Singing Wind and Confident Satellite.



Clara Baby kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Angelo Lacrima started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Winner of todays race was Clara Baby. Spider Hoof came in second. Unlimited Power became third.
