The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Baltazar Cockney took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Iceman Jr, Pretty Wish, Gravital Force, Donna Bella, Calming Folder, Emotion In Motion, Paris Cocktail, Strong Folder.




Pretty Wish sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Iceman Jr looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Juin Juillet galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Iceman Jr sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Juin Juillet was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Iceman Jr kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Donna Bella was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Strong Folder galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Baltazar Cockney won the race after a spectacular finish.
