One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sliding Sword could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Polite Pirate sprinted to the front.




Sonne Brilliant sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sonne Brilliant today. It continued in the lead. Roscommon started to gallop after 1500m and Kjell Brandt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Just Pressure speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sonne Brilliant won. Just Pressure came in second. Light Night caught third place.
