One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Diamond sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Bengt-Erik Olsson wanted a little to much in the start and Smiling Witch galoped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Opposing Sunshine, Great Gene, Plus Viens, Walking Diamond, Lucky Saint, Match Maker, Steel Satellite, Smiling Witch.




The leader got disturbed by something and Plus Viens took the lead rather easily. Steel Satellite suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Match Maker galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Plus Viens was still in the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Louder Than Thunder to trotting so they were disqualified.



Plus Viens sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Match Maker won. Walking Diamond came in second. Plus Viens caught third place.
