The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Moonlight Moon was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Cute Star, Blazing Bianca, Whatever Maid, Icône, Rolling Thought, Lusso Delizia, Moonlight Moon, One Last Dance. Dancing Key showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Cute Star was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Cute Star today. It continued in the lead.

Cute Star sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Cute Star looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

One Last Dance galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Cute Star. Moonlight Moon came in second. Icône became third.
